What you’ll find at Tombstone Trading Company
Used, collectible, surplus, and new guns all sit on the same floor. Whether it’s your first gun or you’ve been collecting for 40 years, you get the same straight answers from us. Used and collectible guns are what we’re known for, but we’re not a used-only shop. If you’re looking for something specific, call 508-867-6800 before you make the drive.
Quality used, collectibles, and military surplus
Used and collectible guns are a big part of what we do. Military surplus and WWII rifles come through regularly too. Every used gun we sell comes with a 30-day guarantee. If it has a problem, we fix it or give you store credit for the full purchase price. Guns sold as-is or for parts, and marked that way when you buy, aren’t covered. To learn more, read Used Guns in Massachusetts and our page on military surplus and WWII collectible rifles in Massachusetts. We’ve had Garands, Carbines, and other classics over the years, but what’s here today changes week to week.
New firearms and Massachusetts compliant handguns
We sell new firearms too. Lots of customers come in looking for a Massachusetts compliant handgun, new or used. Our guide to Massachusetts compliant handguns explains the Approved Handgun Roster in plain English. Before you drive a long way for one gun, call and check that gun against your license with us.
Pre-ban AR and AK rifles
People know us for pre-ban AR and AK style rifles. Whether a given rifle can transfer in Massachusetts comes down to that exact rifle and how it’s set up. Our page on Massachusetts pre-ban AR-15 and AK-47 rifles explains how it works. Ask us about the exact rifle you’re looking at.
Services at our Ware gun shop
Tombstone Trading Company is a licensed Type 07 FFL (manufacturer of firearms other than destructive devices). On top of what’s in the cases, here’s what we do.
FFL transfers
We take inbound transfers of Massachusetts legal firearms. You need our approval before the gun ships. The transfer fee is $50. Sales tax and late pickup fees are covered on our Massachusetts Firearm Transfers page, so give that a read first.
Firearm repair
Bring in your gun and your repair question. What we can do depends on the gun and the work it needs. See our firearm repair page, then call ahead and tell us what’s going on.
Class 3 / NFA
We handle Class 3 / NFA firearms and have a page just for that. Every situation is a little different, so the best next step is a conversation with us at the counter or on the phone.
Sell or trade your guns
We buy guns and take trades, and we make fair offers. Estates and collections are welcome too. Call ahead if you have a lot of guns. We can’t give you a firm price over the phone without seeing the gun. More on our Sell Your Guns To Us page.
